Summer
18” x 24” oil on canvas
This painting was inspired by my desire to try to paint with oil the consistency of water color paint. I was pleased with the result. It seems fresh and bright like summer.
Painting with oil is seductive. It’s buttery smooth and the paint glides across the canvas in a delicious flow. This painting was inspired by the growing concerns we all have for security, and security cameras seem to be positioned everywhere; roads, malls, streets, yards, doors as everyone is now Watching You.

The Demon Isolation
30” x 48” oil on canvas
During COVID 19, you may have experienced freedom from driving and dressing for work. We had time to think; think about our job, our life, our dreams. Inevitably we faced boredom and we took on the Demon Isolation. Containment seemed possible through creative endeavors.
This painting placed third in a Rancho Cordova Arts Council juried show.
This lively bunch of assorted colors and shapely strokes of a leaf, represents the ease of happiness found in nature’s designs that surround us.

16” x 20” oil on canvas
